Detailing a Dash-9

Part: 4 - The final details are completed.

May 2007 - by Lee Wright

This time I didn't really have time to take pictures and detail everything that has been done to the Dash 9.
These first few pictures show some of the later details like the fuel tank gauge and remodeling of the trucks.

The rear radiator grill was ground off and a new one built with the new screen.
A hole for the rear sand filler was cut and material installed for that.

Painting was a big job. A few pictures of the masking procedure are included. The best tape I found was Green tape from the auto paint store.
Here is a good hint. Avoid painting stripes. Use the striping material found at the Auto Paint store.
